RCS has an immediate need for an Administrative Project Coordinator located in the Albany, NY area. This is a contract assignment.  Local candidates are required as there is no relocation or per diem available for this assignment. They achieve all this through financial incentives, education and energy management strategies and solutions.


The Program Coordinator will serve a key role in facilitating the flow of information between the Company's staff, clients, customers, and contractors. The Program Coordinator is responsible for multiple tasks associated with administrative support for multiple NYSERDA Programs supported by the company. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative and data entry support to participating contractors who need information or assistance on Program policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Review and approve home performance retrofit project scopes to be completed under the Program to ensure that they are comprehensive and accurate. 
  • Reviewing project documentation to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Be highly detailed and independent in exercising judgment for matters concerning project execution, data storage, and data organization.
  • Handle customer and contractor inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Entering, modifying, and tracking data via multiple web-based applications and ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Technical document review (construction drawings, equipment specifications).
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 6 months of admin or customer service experience
  • Experience with data tracking systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (2007 and 2010), specifically
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Outlook
  • Highly organized with close attention to detail
  • Willing and eager learner
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience troubleshooting problems, finding and implementing solutions
  • Minimum Education Requirements – High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with NYSERDA’s Residential Programs a plus
