SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for leading and planning the Company’s billing processes and is responsible for enforcing and streamlining billing processes and procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in the implementation of day to day functions of the Billing Department.

  • Oversee and streamline billing and collection processes.

  • Post and review payments received for various or assigned customer accounts.

  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.

  • Implement written procedures that govern accounting functions.

  • Assist in balancing accounts receivable reconciling statements as needed.

  • Monitor and collect accounts receivables.  Report delinquent accounts to Directors of Operations and other appropriate leadership as is deemed appropriate.

  • Maintaining billing and payment log.

  • Responsible for keeping in contact with the responsible parties involved as to payments due and the status of their accounts.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.


DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Five years of related experience required, construction industry a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department.

  • Proven leadership experience.

  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
