They achieve all this through financial incentives, education and energy management strategies and solutions.

Job Description

Our Client is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join the EnergySmart Grocer (ESG) program operations team. The EnergySmart Grocer Program is a third-party utility program that consults with grocers and supermarkets to save energy and increase profit margins. The program serves mid to large-sized grocery stores and specializes in energy efficiency measures for stores with multiplex refrigeration systems.

In this role, the Operations Coordinator will be an integral part of the Northern California team in the Company and will support the program’s field team members, coordinate energy efficiency projects and work with internal stakeholders including the Program Team, Account Managers, Accounting, and Engineering to ensure accurate and timely incentive application processing.

As a member of the ESG team, the Operations Coordinator will perform a range of tasks including creating, managing, and tracking projects and associated deliverables within the program’s database, collecting data and reporting results, and executing processes to assist in the maintenance of our high functioning program teams.  Candidates must have experience coordinating multiple high-quality deliverables on tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.

A successful candidate will be skilled at task management, comfortable in a dynamic and collaborative environment, detail oriented yet efficient, team-focused and able to effectively communicate with both external and internal parties.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage projects for Account Managers
  • Analyze energy efficiency measures to determine qualification for incentives
  • Compile paperwork and prepare program incentive applications
  • Oversee project communications and timelines within a cross-functional team environment
  • Review project documentation, reports and deliverables to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Enter, modify and track projects and program data via multiple systems and tools
  • Work with team to identify opportunities to improve program tools and processes
  • Special projects as needed to support the ESG program or broader team

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-4 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
