RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a Project Controls Analyst for a 6 to contract to hire assignment in San Jose, CA. Local Candidates Preferred.

  • Provide project schedule development with input from project managers, construction managers, designers, client & other stakeholders.
  • Provide updates to the project schedules and contribute to reporting requirements.
  • Provide cost and resource loading of the schedule for planning, design, construction, and procurement
  • Review and monitor schedules of other entities including, designers, contractors, etc.
  • Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
  • Provide detailed schedule analysis of time impacts, time extensions, and reporting.
  • Provide Baseline Schedule and monthly schedule update reviews, analysis and reports.
  • Act as an adviser to meet schedules and deadlines, and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Oversee the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the project schedule on a day to day basis.


  • Minimum 3 years of Planning/Scheduling and Cost Controls Experience for the Construction Industry.
  • Excellent Excel experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Experience coordinating with Billing and Quality Department Leads to drive projects, delegating work and making sure work is completed in time for the Client
  • Experience running reports, validating data, knowing how to locate missing data
  • Experience making Client Presentations
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal), proactive problem solving, ability to adjust to changing job environment, and background in office procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, applicable laws and government regulations, principles of management and supervision.
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Utility Experience Preferred
