RCS has an immediate need for a Project Manager local to Bismark, ND. This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Summary

The Project Manager’s (PM) role is to serve the Company's clients, utilizing standards and established PM principles, and display professionalism and expertise in managing the execution of awarded scopes of work.  The PM will lead project teams, manage, track, report and forecast project progress, schedule, cost, and changes.  The PM will develop new project work by collaborating with management, peers, and industry network.  The PM will strengthen existing and build new client relationships by gaining a high level of credibility and experience in supporting clients’ needs.  The PM will support management by driving growth through strategy, managed risks, appropriate controls, coordination, and utilization of technical staff across all offices.  The PM will have excellent Engineering judgement, communication skills, and fully represent the Company's core values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The PM must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable interacting with clients, and have a sense of ownership and pride in delivering excellent work products and client service in a deadline-oriented environment.  Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Identifying project work opportunities with the support of management
  • Developing scopes, schedules, and budgets for competitive proposals
  • Managing teams for timely, efficient, and quality project deliverables on schedule and within budget.
  • Supporting Director of Projects and PM peers in continual improvement of Project Management standards and templates.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of current and proposed codes, standards, regulations and guidelines within area of project expertise.
  • Working closely with peers and other offices for technical project support
  • Managing project team members, ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables
  • Customer relations, including solicitation of performance feedback, issue resolution, and new and existing relationship expansion
  • Managing risk exposure in all proposals, client communications, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager
  • Oil and Gas experience in at least one of the following areas:  Upstream, Midstream, Downstream.
  • Hands on business development experience
  • Problem Solving
  • Project/discipline team management
  • Critical Path Scheduling Tools
  • Standard Project Management approach (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Proposal Development
  • Cost Estimating, Tracking, and Forecasting
  • Change Management principles and tools
  • Industry best practices/standards/procedures
