RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a  Construction Facility Support Services Manager in Springfield, VA. This is a Direct Hire permanent position.

Job Summary

Incumbent will perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles to manage renovation and infrastructure upgrade projects, contract CADD programs, and contract MS Project schedule. Must be a U.S. Citizen that has and can maintain an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.  

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Ensure successful, on-time completion of construction projects of various levels of complexity. - Ensure subcontractor performance meets contract, safety and security requirements - Ensure project proposal packages meet SOW requirements, maximize profit margin and have executable schedules.
  • Ensure MS Project schedules are current and approved.
  • Work with other managers to prepare appropriate MS Project schedules to support breadth of contract.
  • Manage project execution to ensure budget and schedule compliance.  
  • Independently complete site-walks to ensure conformance with specifications and design.
  • Ensure CADD products meet client expectations.
  • Ensure CADD efforts are within SOW boundaries.
  • Review and analyze production reports.
  • Review and analyze cost reports.
  • Review and analyze schedule progress.
  • Ensure required materials remain on schedule to support project execution milestones.
  • Ensure daily redlines are accomplished as appropriate.
  • Prepare miscellaneous reports for project management providing needed information for submittals.
  • Ensure receipt of all necessary project close out documentation and ensure proper updates of CMMS system records and maintenance libraries are accomplished.
  • Review subcontractor invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Supervise subordinate employees.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements     

  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ related work experience is required.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or demonstrated combination of education/experience.
  •  Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

  • PMP certification
